Chummie premium has 8 loud alert ‘Selectable Tones’, so you can set the alarm to your favorite tone each night. The alarm features 2 volume levels designed both for regular and deep sleepers. With two visible bright lights and vibration, Chummie Premium is a parent favorite. This alarm is powered with a soft, flexible, hypoallergenic silicon sensor that detects the first drop of urine and does not cause skin rash.
No worries. Chummie Premium can be easily setup by a child fours year and above. Multiple functionalities are put into one easy to use button known as the 3-way switch which lets you change the features on the alarm. We recommend you go over the manual step by step with your child to them used to the alarm.
Batteries on the Chummie Premium Alarm should last through the life of the treatment. When the IntelliFlex sensor is disconnected during daytime storage, the batteries should last a year or longer. However in a rare case when the batteries are low, they can be replaced in no time at all. The Chummie Premium uses 2 AAA batteries.
Most definitely, the IntelliFlex Sensor on the Chummie Alarms is recommended to be cleaned after each use. Please ensure the sensor is dry, prior to reconnecting it to the alarm.
Each box consists of 60 Flexitapes. Additional Flexitapes can be purchased separately. You can contact us at (800)230-6775 if you prefer to order over the phone.
• Attach the sensor to the outside of your child’s undergarment. Ensure that sensor front (black face) touches the undergarment. Tape the sensor back (white face) with Flexitape.
• DO NOT tape the black surface of the sensor as shown below.
• If your child sweats at night, to avoid false alarms, tape the sensor and place between two pairs of undergarments. Sensor front must face your child. Run sensor cord underneath the shirt.
• To start monitoring for bedwetting events, insert the sensor plug into the sensor jack. The alarm unit will beep twice signaling a successful connection has been established.
The alarm is loud enough to wake up the child. Whether the alarm can be heard in the adjacent room, depends on many factors such as the size of the room, distance between both rooms and the location of your child’s bed.
Sure, the alarm works for children who sleep on their tummy, back or sideways. The way your child sleeps shouldn’t impact the treatment. If you have a specific question, please reach one of our bedwetting specialists.

The mechanism is a little awkward. Unfortunately, my daughter sleeps too deeply to hear the alarm or feel the vibration. She would not wake up until she was entirely soaked…or even not at all.

My 8 year old son suddenly started to wet the bed one night. Neither my wife, nor I were bedwetters – as far as we can remember and we were stumped by this sudden event that occurred. We dismissed it as a one time event but it wasn’t. The next night, he wet again and the following night as well. My wife immediately cut his water intake and set rules on activities and strict bed-time. But none of these helped. We were confused and I discussed it with my co-worker. He wasn’t surprised. He recommended we see a doctor immediately. We did that the next week. By now, he was wetting the bed every night. About three weeks into wetting, his pediatrician recommended we use a bedwetting alarm. I had never even heard of such a thing. He didn’t want to give my son medication and thought alarms were a good solution. There is a big range of alarms to choose from and I wasn’t certain which one to try. My office co-worked recommended chummie and that’s why I purchased it. When it arrived, we were all a little skeptical. Its small, smaller than my hand and the sensor is about a quarter the size of the alarm. Also there were instructions and tape that came with it. I read the instructions carefully and was a little confused about the actual set up. I sent an email to customer support only to be get a call back the next day. They explained me details of how the product works and what I should expect and how soon. To be very honest, we saw no results the first week. My son slept right through the alarm. I started to question the purchase of the chummie and was about to give up when finally on the 11th day, my son did wake up to the chummie alarm! He was confused and didn’t know what exactly to do. I helped him and changed his clothing and he went back to sleep only to be woken again. I couldn’t believe that he was wetting his bed 2-3 times a night. After about a month from the time we started using chummie, he started to have some dry nights. Not too many, but maybe about 2 per week.

This was one of those products I should have gotten years ago. If my daughters pediatrician had recommended a bedwetting alarm we would have tried this when my daughter was 4 or 5 rather than waiting till she was 8. We purchased it with high hopes that it would deliver the joy of a dry bed as other parents have experienced, but were still nervous how it would work on her.
The first few weeks, I kept waking up several times at night to help her change and get into new clothes. I was losing sleep, but I wasn’t giving up. After a few weeks of soiled laundry and being woken up at night, we started to see progress. And just as soon as we started to see a dry night, we say the next and the number of days she stayed dry started adding up.
What’s great is that my daughter didn’t mind trying is out. She called it: “Wendy the buzzer”.
Chummie has worked faster than I could have imagined. I still can’t get over the fact that my daughter is not bedwetting anymore.
Its a 180 transformation for her – from 7 wet nights to 7 dry nights. Of all the purchases we have made, this stands out as one of the best. The alarm is super easy to use, it is comfortable to wear and worked like a charm every time.Thanks Wendy (Chummie)!

I stand by the chummie. When nothing else worked, chummie came to the rescue. I got an armband as well to help her sleep more comfortably at night. Its a great deal at this price.

I have to say that this is the best money I have ever spent on a product. My 8 year old boy has stopped wetting his bed in days. Its been exactly 15 days, but he has not had one urine related accident in the last 3 days. He just goes to the bathroom at night before sleeping, then puts on chummie and jumps into bed. He woke up initially when chummie alerted him, but its like his brain has learned that it should control the bladder. Can’t believe that he is sleeping dry. Its all happening and I am sure its just another few days before we stop using it. Great product.
