Chummie Premium Bedwetting Alarm is our Staff’s “#1 Recommended Alarm”. Chummie premium has 8 loud alert ‘Selectable Tones’, so you can set the alarm to your favorite tone each night. The alarm features 2 volume levels designed both for regular and deep sleepers. With two visible bright lights and vibration, Chummie Premium is a parent favorite. This alarm is powered with a soft, flexible, hypoallergenic silicon sensor that detects the first drop of urine and does not cause skin rash.
No worries. Chummie Premium can be easily setup by a child fours year and above. Multiple functionalities are put into one easy to use button known as the 3-way switch which lets you change the features on the alarm. We recommend you go over the manual step by step with your child to them used to the alarm.
Batteries on the Chummie Premium Alarm should last through the life of the treatment. When the IntelliFlex sensor is disconnected during daytime storage, the batteries should last a year or longer. However in a rare case when the batteries are low, they can be replaced in no time at all. The Chummie Premium uses 2 AAA batteries.
Most definitely, the IntelliFlex Sensor on the Chummie Alarms is recommended to be cleaned after each use. Please ensure the sensor is dry, prior to reconnecting it to the alarm.
Each box consists of 60 Flexitapes. Additional Flexitapes can be purchased separately. You can contact us at (800)230-6775 if you prefer to order over the phone.
• Attach the sensor to the outside of your child’s undergarment. Ensure that sensor front (black face) touches the undergarment. Tape the sensor back (white face) with Flexitape.
• DO NOT tape the black surface of the sensor as shown below.
• If your child sweats at night, to avoid false alarms, tape the sensor and place between two pairs of undergarments. Sensor front must face your child. Run sensor cord underneath the shirt.
• To start monitoring for bedwetting events, insert the sensor plug into the sensor jack. The alarm unit will beep twice signaling a successful connection has been established.
The alarm is loud enough to wake up the child. Whether the alarm can be heard in the adjacent room, depends on many factors such as the size of the room, distance between both rooms and the location of your child’s bed.
Sure, the alarm works for children who sleep on their tummy, back or sideways. The way your child sleeps shouldn’t impact the treatment. If you have a specific question, please reach one of our bedwetting specialists.

My sons pediatrician recommended this particular brand. He has been recommending alarms for years and said that this alarm was worth a try. I am so happy with my purchase. Chummie was purchased on September 30. Arrived in days and we started using it the day it came. In exactly 51 days, he completed the process and has not wet the bed since. Now, weeks later, he’s still dry and happy. He seems more confident.
At first we kept fingers crossed hoping that this would work and it did! Should have bought it sooner.
Everything is great except that they don’t give enough tape. The chummie comes with 60 tapes which may seem enough at first, but if your son wets 2-3 times a night, you will need to order more tape.
The $100 I spent was probably the best expense of the year. His first Christmas not wetting the bed.

My son really wanted to stop his night time wetting and he was determined to let this work but if you have a child who may not be as motivated or mature yet it may be harder. This alarm require patience and effort on the parents part. But once you do that, its a guaranteed hit…

This is the best thing I have spent money on in years. My son actually got to the point where he would not spend the night at his friend’s house due to bed-wetting. He even denied going on a camping trip because he was afraid, and more so, embarrassed about peeing in the bed. We tried everything from less fluids at night, to him using special underwear that would prevent the bed from getting wet. Another thing bad about the bed-wetting underwear is that I had to buy more every month. It adds up. None of this worked, but Chummie on the other hand has saved me well over a hundred dollars, and best of all my son has almost quit wetting the bed. I just wanted to share my joy and appreciation.

I heard about chummie from my co-worker who swore by it. I ordered it immediately and my daughter was very excited to receive it. Prior to chummie, she would get to about 2 nights of being dry then she would be wet again. This has been happening since I can remember. I preferred chummie over medication and pull-ups. The first night the alarm woke her after only getting her underwear wet, that was with the alarm on high volume. I was very hopeful that this is the tool to condition her to success. We continued this for about 3 weeks. As a test, the next night, we turned the alarm to low and the next night she woke up to the alarm as well. A few times her underwear didn’t even look wet but the sensor picks up the first few drops. 4 weeks later, she was still wetting around 4 times a week. Then in the 5th week, she only wet about 2 times and the 6th week only 1 time. She had her first 15 dry nights (consecutive) after using chummie for a total of 9 weeks. We stopped using chummie 1 month ago and she has not wet the bed. She has gone back to having dry nights again. I think these results are permanent. This is a great product.

Our family Dr. recommended an alarm and told us that this usually works best if the child is motivated. We did have to help him wake up sometimes, but usually he got up, peed and got changed on his own. First 2 days were the hardest, he would use 2 pair of underwear, and we sometimes got up 2-3 times in one night. In a few weeks improvement was real. And now he doesn’t wet the bed anymore
