Chummie premium has 8 loud alert ‘Selectable Tones’, so you can set the alarm to your favorite tone each night. The alarm features 2 volume levels designed both for regular and deep sleepers. With two visible bright lights and vibration, Chummie Premium is a parent favorite. This alarm is powered with a soft, flexible, hypoallergenic silicon sensor that detects the first drop of urine and does not cause skin rash.
No worries. Chummie Premium can be easily setup by a child fours year and above. Multiple functionalities are put into one easy to use button known as the 3-way switch which lets you change the features on the alarm. We recommend you go over the manual step by step with your child to them used to the alarm.
Batteries on the Chummie Premium Alarm should last through the life of the treatment. When the IntelliFlex sensor is disconnected during daytime storage, the batteries should last a year or longer. However in a rare case when the batteries are low, they can be replaced in no time at all. The Chummie Premium uses 2 AAA batteries.
Most definitely, the IntelliFlex Sensor on the Chummie Alarms is recommended to be cleaned after each use. Please ensure the sensor is dry, prior to reconnecting it to the alarm.
Each box consists of 60 Flexitapes. Additional Flexitapes can be purchased separately. You can contact us at (800)230-6775 if you prefer to order over the phone.
• Attach the sensor to the outside of your child’s undergarment. Ensure that sensor front (black face) touches the undergarment. Tape the sensor back (white face) with Flexitape.
• DO NOT tape the black surface of the sensor as shown below.
• If your child sweats at night, to avoid false alarms, tape the sensor and place between two pairs of undergarments. Sensor front must face your child. Run sensor cord underneath the shirt.
• To start monitoring for bedwetting events, insert the sensor plug into the sensor jack. The alarm unit will beep twice signaling a successful connection has been established.
The alarm is loud enough to wake up the child. Whether the alarm can be heard in the adjacent room, depends on many factors such as the size of the room, distance between both rooms and the location of your child’s bed.
Sure, the alarm works for children who sleep on their tummy, back or sideways. The way your child sleeps shouldn’t impact the treatment. If you have a specific question, please reach one of our bedwetting specialists.

This has been money well spent. Just make sure you follow the institutions properly. Worked great for my 9-year-old daughter. Within two weeks of using this alarm she started getting up dry and no relapse at all from two months. woke her up. I highly recommend this product.

I previously had another alarm, which was very inconsistent. We had it with false alarms from sweat and sometimes just moving in the bed at night. THe problem was that the alarm would beep randomly and when he wet, nothing would happen. I read many reviews and purchased a Chummie. A good decision and I couldn’t be happier about it. This model has a sensor that is large and soft, so it is very comfortable. Since it is large, it was important specially for boy’s. Also the sensor cut down the false alarm from sweat and perspiration. He has had no false alarms and I know he sweats a lot. It has worked very well and senses wetness accurately. My son was setting it up at night and washing the sensor all by himself. Simple to use. It is build solidly and I’m very happy with it. It has helped my son stay completely dry. It did its job and has helped my son stay completely dry in about 6 weeks. He doesn’t sleep through the night yet, but hthe alarm has trained him to wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. He was a 2-time-a-night bed wetter, now he’s dry every night. We have saved a lot on laundry! Thanks!

The alarm works well. We had an issue when my son accidentally broke the sensor at night. The company sent us a replacement and we appreciate that. Great support. It set us back a bit and we resumed treatment. Now we are back to recording dry nights again.

Can’t tell you how excited we are with chummie. It was a tough choice choosing between alarms because they all seem to do the same thing, we chose this one because it was sold directly by amazon and my son loved the looks. Hes going to the 4th grade this year and and we thought the holidays were the best time to start using an alarm. We were so right!
This year, there were no camps and no holidays for our family and we got him to use chummie. The progress he made was fantastic. He woke up the first night he used it. Granted he seemed confused, but the fact that he woke up was a big deal for us. Gradually, he started waking up and going to the bathroom until one night, he just slept without waking up. I thought the alarm was defective and changed batteries, but the same thing happened next night. I noticed that he started sleeping dry. Can’t tell you how excited I was.
It has taken time, but now hes going to feel so much better about himself that hes not bedwetting anymore. Should have done this years ago…

We have 4 kids and this has been a lifesaver with your little toddlers. Our beds were getting ruined because of all the bed wetting accidents. Our pediatrician recommended the Chummie and it was an absolute miracle worker. At first I was skeptical of it but man I could not be more of a believer now. The bed wetting alarm really does help our kids know its time to get up and go to the bathroom rather than going in their bed. Our kids were fine having this and it was easy to program for our kids and they even learned to use it. I would recommend this to anyone with kids because it is an absolute pain to clean the mattress and sheets on a daily or weekly basis.

This system was bought after my sister swore that it was something that I needed to invest my money in. My niece used the chummie and was dry in about 2 months, but shes only 7. My daughter is 11 and a little too old to wet the bed at night. She is not a deep sleeper, but what I would call an active sleeper. She moves a lot in bed. At 11, I thought it would take her several months to have a dry bed, but I still had high hopes. My daughter was able to read through the instructions and set it up. She liked the sensor part a whole lot. I think that the sensor is a little long for her. She is around 5 feet tall. I coiled it with a rubber band. The first night, she woke up 3 times. I didn’t know you could even wet the bed that many times. Shes grown up and was able to change herself and get back to bed. The alarm is loud, very loud for her. She used a low volume setting and tried it on the second night. She woke up again, two times that night. The chummie woke her up every time she was wetting. This is such a great product! Anyway, on day five, she stopped wetting and through till today, she has not wet at all. That’s 10 straight dry nights. The instructions say that she needs to be dry for at least 14 nights and that’s what we will shoot for, but shes more than halfway there in only two weeks.
I am so happy that I just had to write this little update to share it with others. I ill update in a few weeks, but for now, it appears that my 11 year old has stopped wetting the bed in 15 days!
