Place the Chummie bedwetting alarm unit on the bedside or someplace convenient where your child can hear the alarm and reach it to turn it off. Secure the IntelliFlex mat on the bed by placing 4 pins in the 4 corners. Place the bed sheet directly over the mat. Ensure that your child does not come in contact with the mat. The mat is very sensitive and sweat from the body can trigger the Chummie alarm.

Gently clean the IntelliFlex mat with a damp cotton cloth, then immediately pat dry with a towel or cloth – DO NOT USE SOAP OR LIQUID DETERGENT. DO NOT WASH THE PLUG (the end that goes into the alarm unit)
Some children sweat more than other children. This may cause the IntelliFlex mat to go off at night. To minimize false alarms, follow the step below.
• If Place the IntelliFlex mat in a pillowcase and secure the mat on the bed by placing 4 pins in the 4 corners .
• Place a bed sheet directly over the mat enclosed in the pillowcase.
• To start monitoring for bedwetting events, insert the mat plug into the Chummie alarm. The alarm unit will beep twice signaling a successful connection has been established.

For daytime storage, disconnect the IntelliFlex mat from the Chummie bedwetting alarm unit. The alarm unit beeps once and enters standby (power save) mode.
The Chummie Alarm and IntelliFlex mat are very sensitive and sweat from the body can trigger the alarm. Make sure that that skin does not come in contact with the mat. It is always recommended to first place the mat in a pillow case and then put it under a bedsheet.
Wipe the IntellIFlex mat with a damp cloth and then clean dry. Do NOT place under water or submerge in water.
It’s a good idea to use waterproof overlays. These will protect the mattress from urine stains. However, the mat should always be placed on top of the waterproof bedding. Never place the mat below the waterproof bedding or else the alarm will not detect any urine
For hygienic purposes, it is always recommended that you use a new mat for each mat child to be treated. The mat comes in contact with urine so it is advisable to use a separate mat for each child. Additional mats can be purchased here.

My husband bought this product two months ago and I have to say, it is a miracle product. My 7 year old now can happily go to sleepovers and not have to worry and there’s no more tears over embarrassment. The alarm system worked great, no issues or problems with it–it is very loud but that’s a good thing LOL! I am finally done buying diapers and my daughter could not be happier that she can join her friends. It took about 6 weeks till she had multiple dry nights in a row and two weeks since she’s been going strong with no wet nights yet and hopefully no more again! This is one of the more comfortable things we have tried and I am so pleased with the product. I highly recommend!

I used another alarm with arm band and my son found it not convenient to sleep with and there was no result even after using for two months so I switched to this alarm with my doctor’s recommendation. It’s really effective and has shown positive result in just two weeks.

The alarm was working wonderfully and was doing a great job at waking our son up till he became sick. Now he stopped responding to the alarm. I think the vibrations should be more stronger to help child get up as if someone is shaking him.

Its amazing how well this system is working for my son. He’s 8, but refused to wear anything on his underwear. This was a last resort, but was the best.
The mat doesn’t appear to be very comfortable at first, but once he falls asleep on it, he can’t tell that there is something below him. The added convenience of not having wires on his body and freedom to move in bed is a great feeling. Its making a big difference and hes waking up to chummie.

After using this alarm, my son wakes up dry every morning and I find him very joyful and more confident. The first week was really hard he would not get up many times and slept wet but there was tremendous improvement in the next weeks. If you have a bedwetting child who does not like wearable alarm then I would highly recommend buy this alarm stick with it, it will work.
